A Crossover is a one-piece threaded tubular subassembly that is used to connect two different or same thread type components. It is also used to connect two tubular sections such as casings, tubing or drill pipes together. Crossovers are widely used during completion activities to connect two same or different types or size of components which otherwise cannot be screwed together because of difference in their thread size or type.
Top Connectors specified in API Spec 6A have designated uppermost Collar connections for specific Flange and Hub sizes and working pressures. API Spec 6A does not mention cross adaptation. Following the exact Flange / Hub top connection specification allows operators to always know the uppermost connection if they know the Run connections of the Christmas Tree. If adapting proves necessary operators may use an independent unit of equipment or order a special Top Connector with the desired combination of sizes and pressures.

A flange consisting of two parts, a hub and a ring. The hub contains the gasket profile, and the ring features the bolt-hole pattern. The ring can rotate around the hub for easier makeup. Once the bolts are tightened, the ring is compressed against the hub via a shoulder and secured in place.
Weld Neck Flanges are flanges that designed to be joined to a piping system by butt welding. the WN Flange is preferred for high stress applications. The neck, or hub, transmits stresses to the pipe, reducing stress concentrations at the base of the Welding-Neck flanges. The gradual transition of thickness from the base of the hub to the wall thickness at the butt weld provides important reinforcement of the Weld Neck flange. The bore of the Weld-Neck flange matches the bore of the pipe, reducing turbulence and erosion.

A multi-turn valve that has a gate-like disc and two seats to close the valve. The gate moves linearly, perpendicular to the direction of flow. This type of valve is normally used in the fully opened or fully closed position; it is not suited to throttling applications. Gate valves provide robust sealing and are used extensively in the petrochemicals industries.
The Well Test Surface Safety Valve (SSV) is a hydraulically actuated, fail-safe gate valve installed upstream of the choke manifold. A range of SSV gate valves are available at working temperatures of -20 to 450°F (-29 to 232°C) and are DNV-type approved in accordance with API 6A, Annex F, PR2.
